Neogate Acceptable Use Policy

Reference translation. The Russian text is the binding version; if the two differ, the Russian one prevails.
This policy is part of the public offer for Neogate web resource protection services. Terms have the meanings given in the offer.
#1. Prohibited
1.1. Connecting to the Service any Resource that hosts or distributes:
- child sexual abuse material;
- malware, or botnet command and control infrastructure;
- phishing pages and other material created to obtain other people's credentials or payment data;
- material and services whose distribution is prohibited by the laws of the Russian Federation.
1.2. Using the Service for fraud, spam, or for selling or providing DDoS attack services.
1.3. Using the addresses and infrastructure of the Service for attacks, scanning or other unauthorized actions against third parties.
1.4. Load testing the Service or simulating an Attack on a Resource without the Contractor's written approval. Approved testing is carried out at the agreed time and in the agreed volume.
1.5. Trying to bypass the limits of the Plan, or to gain access to other customers' data or to the control of the Service.
1.6. Connecting domain names the Customer has no rights to.
#2. Complaints about Resources
2.1. Complaints about the content of Resources are accepted by email at abuse@neogate.systems. A complaint must give the address of the material and describe the violation.
2.2. The Contractor does not host the content of Resources and does not control it. On receiving a complaint, the Contractor forwards it to the Customer and, where needed to contact the hosting provider and where the law allows, tells the complainant the address of the Customer's Server.
2.3. The Customer reviews the complaint and tells the Contractor what was done within 72 hours.
#3. Suspension of the Service
3.1. The Contractor may suspend service to a Resource, with at least 24 hours' notice to the Customer, if the Customer has violated the Policy and has not fixed the violation by the date given in the notice.
3.2. The Contractor may suspend service to a Resource without prior notice if:
- the violation falls under clauses 1.1–1.3 of the Policy;
- the Customer's actions or the Resource's traffic threaten the operation of the Service or the Resources of other customers;
- an authorized government body requires it.
3.3. The Contractor tells the Customer about a suspension without prior notice within 24 hours and gives the reason.
3.4. Service is resumed once the violation is fixed. In case of a repeated or gross violation the Contractor may terminate the agreement.
